Starting May 27, Arkansas driver’s licenses and state mobile IDs can be added to Apple Wallet and used for verification when flying.
Arkansas residents can now seamlessly and securely add their driver’s license or state ID to Apple Wallet, then use their iPhone or Apple Watch when providing identity verification at the airport. This announcement builds on the state’s previous rollout of Arkansas Mobile ID, which provides a digital way for residents to present their identity.
Passengers at LIT can now use Google, Samsung or Apple Wallet to scan their mobile ID at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint. They should still have their physical ID with them in case there are any issues with their phone or digital ID.
