Commissioner Bob Edwards, a fifth-generation Arkansan, grew up in the farming community of Tomberlin and graduated from England Public High School. He earned a B.A. in Biology from Hendrix College in 1991 and a J.D. from the Bowen School of Law in 1998. He began his legal career at the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office, ultimately serving as Chief of Staff for then-Attorney General Mark Pryor. Bob later spent a decade at the national law firm Wilkes & McHugh, P.A., focusing on nursing home and trucking litigation before establishing his own firm in 2013, where he continues to advocate for injured individuals and their families.

Licensed in multiple states, Bob primarily practices in nursing home and tractor-trailer litigation. He is the president of the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association and an active member of several legal organizations, including the Arkansas Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. Committed to public service, he has served on the Board of Directors for the England Public School District and as President of the Bowen School of Law Alumni Board.

Bob and his wife, Tiffany, have one  daughter, Katharine Grace. They attend Trinity Episcopal Church and reside in Little Rock.
