Clinton National Airport Modernizes Procurement with New PlanetBids Platform

Clinton National Airport has selected PlanetBids to provide digital procurement operations for the Airport’s public procurement program.

PlanetBids will provide solutions for the entire procurement lifecycle, including procurement request intake, solicitation creation and release, document and contract management, insurance and business certification tracking, electronic bid and proposal submission and evaluation and vendor engagement.

Vendors or businesses interested in working with the Airport can visit the Airport’s new PlanetBids Vendor Portal to register, view open opportunities, subscribe to notifications for new contracting opportunities, and submit bids.

Clinton National Airport serves central Arkansas as one of the state’s largest commercial service airports and operates with a centralized procurement team that manages a diverse portfolio of solicitations across construction, professional services, technology and operational categories.

“Moving to PlanetBids is an important step in modernizing how we manage procurement and do business with the vendor community,” said Jennifer Miller, director of procurement at Clinton National Airport. “We wanted more than an electronic bidding system. We wanted a platform that supports the full procurement lifecycle, improves communication and access to information across our internal departments, strengthens our compliance capabilities, provides vendors with a centralized point of engagement and reduces administrative burden through greater automation.”

“Clinton National Airport has a well-defined vision for improving the Airport’s procurement processes and vendor experience,” said David DiGiacomo, CEO of PlanetBids.  “We are proud to welcome them to PlanetBids and committed to supporting a successful implementation from day one.”
