Shaun Cookson, A.A.E., ACE, ASC, IACE

Shaun Cookson, A.A.E. serves as the Interim Director – Operations at the Clinton National Airport, where he oversees airport operations, safety, federal regulatory compliance, and coordination across multiple operational departments. He brings extensive experience in airport operations and executive leadership, with a background spanning over a decade at various airports nationwide where he’s overseen airfield operations, emergency preparedness, capital projects, and FAA Part 139 compliance.

Cookson holds a Master of Science degree in Aviation and Space and is an Accredited Airport Executive through the American Association of Airport Executives. He is committed to fostering a strong safety culture, operational excellence, and long-term asset stewardship, and works closely with airport leadership, staff, and stakeholders to support the airport’s mission and strategic objectives.
