Clinton National Airport Safety Policy Statement
Clinton National Airport is committed to making safety the highest priority for all employees, users and the traveling public. We each bear the responsibility to operate safely. Utilizing a robust Safety Management System is essential in all our aviation endeavors, aiming to attain the utmost safety standards and performance.
Therefore, we pledge to:
- Consistently foster a safety-oriented culture, ensuring personnel understand their roles in safety management, and proactively minimizing risks associated with accidents or incidents are key priorities.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards for externally provided systems, exceeding legislative requirements when able, and providing adequate safety training are essential measures.
- Regularly assess safety performance, striving for the highest safety standards and continual improvement through reviews, providing necessary resources and actions to further reinforce our commitment to maintain safety across all operations.
We advocate for open reporting of all incidents and occurrences that could jeopardize the safety of our operations. Every employee is tasked with sharing any information that could impact airport operations without fear of reprisal. However, this policy does not protect illegal acts or intentional disregard of regulations or procedures.
