Custodial Attendant (Female)

Clinton National Airport is currently seeking individuals to maintain a clean environment in and around the Airport terminal. Duites include cleaning restrooms, offices, floors, windows and ensuring all public and controlled areas are swept, mopped and vacuumed. Applicants should describe in detail their previous custodial and housekeeping experience when completing the online application.

The Window crew (1st shift) performs detailed work on all interior/exterior glass surfaces and will require you to operate a lift. The Floor crew (3rd shift) peforms detailed work on floors, and applicants should have previous experience using a buffer, burnisher and stripping/waxing floors.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, with certain schedules open to Female applicants only. It is gender-specific and represents a bona fide occupational qualification (BFOQ) that is reasonably necessary for normal business operation. Work schedules currently available are:

  • Sunday - Wednesday, 3:30pm to 2am (Nights)
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00pm to 4:30am (Overnights-Floor crew)

Cashier I

Clinton National Airport is currently seeking a professional to promptly and accurately check out parking lot customers in an efficient and courteous manner. Responsibilites also include performing a nightly audit of all Airport parking lots.

Must have at least 1 year of previous work experience handling cash and credit card transactions. Also requires valid driver's license and clean driving record history.

This is a Full-time, hourly position with the following available shift schedules:

  • Sunday - Thursday, 10pm to 6:30am (Overnights)

The pay grade range is $10.15 -$15.20 per hour. Starting pay rate will be based on previous work experience and education.

Cashier II - Team Leader

Clinton National Airport is currently seeking a professional to provide oversight for the efficient and accurate accounting of all parking lot cashier transactions, and ensure the highest levels of customer service. Responsibilites will also include counting down the safe, issue and close out cashier registers, complete cash summary reports, deposits receipts in the vault, and performing a nightly audit of all Airport parking lots.

As a Team Leader, you will also assign break periods to other staff and fill-in when needed to peform cashier transactions for customers. Must have at least 2 year of previous cashier work experience, including shift responsibility for accounting and depositing money. Also requires valid driver's license and clean driving record history.

This is a Full-time, hourly position with the following available shift schedule(s):

  • Wednesday - Sunday, 1:30pm to 10pm (Nights)

Building Maintenance Tech III

The Building Maintenace Repair Tech position responds to daily work orders, perform general repairs, upgrades and preventative maintenance in and around the Airport terminal. Should have have 3 years related work experience and/or formal technical training, knowledge of general safety precautions and regulations, valid driver's license and clean driving history.

This is a Full-time, non-exempt hourly night position with the following available shift schedule(s):

  • Wednesday - Saturday, 3:30pm to 2am

Airport Internship Program

Clinton National Airport (LIT) is seeking college students and aspiring professionals who are interested in an all-around introduction to professional airport management and operations, an opportunity for professional development, and hands-on learning experience at a public use airport.

Our internship program provides a real-world experience in how the Airport operates on a daily basis. Starting pay rate is $12 per hour and you will work between 15 to 32 hours per week. Flexible scheduling options are available to accommodate class schedules for students if needed (i.e. M/W/F or T/Th).

Responsibilities:

The intern’s work duties will be directly related to the operation of the airport, and may involve both indoor and outdoor work. Work duties may generally include airport management functions to include property management, development: engineering/planning/construction/environment, purchasing and contracting, human resources, information technology, general aviation, public safety, airfield operations, airport building maintenance activities (including operation of maintenance equipment) airport finance and budgeting, marketing and promotions, air service development and special projects.

  • Assist department with developing and executing communications campaigns.
  • Draft written materials, including speeches, media advisories and releases and web copy.
  • Plan and create content for website, social media platforms and e-newsletters.
  • Monitor and reply to customer social media inquiries and coordinate service recovery as needed.
  • Coordinate special events and assist with conference planning.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current students (preferably with at least junior standing), or recent college graduate, majoring in Administration, Aviation, Business, Engineering, or other related program.
  • Previous related work experience in a professional environment is a plus.
  • A working knowledge of computers, as well as word processing and database management software (i.e. - MS Office).
