Custodial Attendant (Female)

Clinton National Airport is currently seeking individuals to maintain a clean environment in and around the Airport terminal and ensure that all public and controlled areas are swept, mopped, and vacuumed. This includes detailed work on floors, windows, offices and restrooms. Floor Crew applicants should have previous experience using a buffer, burnisher and stripping/waxing floors.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, open to Female applicants only. It is gender-specific and represents a bona fide occupational qualification (BFOQ) that is reasonably necessary for normal business operation. Work schedules currently available are:

  • Sunday - Wednesday, 3:30pm to 2am (Nights)
  • Wednesday - Saturday, 3:30pm to 2am (Nights)
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00pm to 4:30am (Overnight) Floor Crew

The pay grade range is $9.14 - $13.70 per hour based on previous work experience and education. Applicants should describe in detail their previous custodial and housekeeping experience when completing the online application.

Equipment Operator I (Groundskeeper)

Clinton National Airport is currently seeking a laborer to help maintain Airport grounds and equipment. Duties include mowing grass, landscaping, cleaning empty lots, install and repair airfield structures and fences, and removing snow and ice during inclement weather events.  

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Available schedules include:

  • Monday - Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm
  • Tuesday - Friday, 6am to 4:30pm

A valid driver's license and clean driving history is required. 

The pay grade range is $9.85 -$14.76 per hour. Starting pay rate will be based on previous work experience and education.

Airport Duty Manager

Clinton National Airport is currently seeking an individual responsible for overseeing airport operations and ensuring compliance with FAR Part 139. They will also conduct inspections and prepare discrepancy reports, respond to emergencies and follow FAA regulation guidance. Individual must be able to communicate changes in security procedures, assist with updating all governing certifications and policies, conduct security training, and issuing SIDA badges.

This is a full-time, non-exempt positions that works a rotating 8 hour rotating shift. Must be available for day, evening and overnight schedules. A four-year degree in Aviation Management or Business Administration is preferred, along with a minimum 2yrs experience working in a small or medium hub Part 139 airport. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

The pay grade range is $19.99 - $29.99 hourly, however starting pay rate will be based on previous work experience, education and salary history.

Building Maintenance Tech III

The Building Maintenace Repair Tech position responds to daily work orders, perform general repairs, upgrades and preventative maintenance in and around the Airport terminal. Must have 3yrs related work experience and/or formal technical training, knowledge of general safety precautions and regulations, valid driver's license and clean driving history.

This is a Full-time, hourly position with the following available shift schedule(s):

  • Wednesday- Saturday,  3:30pm to 2:00am

Maintenance Technician - HVAC

Clinton National Airport is currently seeking an individual to respond to daily work orders, perform general building repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance in and around the Airport facility. Must be able to perform skilled work in using both refrigeration and electrical test equipment to troubleshoot HVAC systems and make repairs as required. They will also oversee the installation of new heating and air conditioning equipment.

Requires a minimum 4 years of training and/or work experience that clearly demonstrates a competency level required to perform all required duties with minimum supervision. Valid driver's license and clean driving record history is required. State license and EPA certification is strongly recommended.

This is a full-time, hourly night-shfit position that works Sunday - Wednesday, 3:30pm to 2am.

The pay grade range is $15.60 - $23.39 per hour. Starting pay rate will be based on previous work experience and education.

Summer Internship Program

Clinton National Airport (LIT) is seeking College Juniors or Seniors currently enrolled in an accredited aviation program to participate in our summer internship program. If you are a self-motivated individual with a desire to pursue a career in airport management or aviation, then our internship work program will help provide the development and professional experience needed to excel in this career field.

This 10-week program will begin May 28th and conclude on August 3rd.  Interns will work a regular 40 hour weekly shift, and be compensated as non-exempt, hourly employees. Building Maintenance Supervisor

The Building Maintenace Supervisor is repsonsible for ensuring all Airport buildings and facilities are safe and operational by maintaining skilled supervision of personnel responsible for daily maintenance and responding to emergency issues. This includes traicking progression of electronic work orders, setting repair priorities, and promoting the responsible usage of Airport resources. 

This is a Full-time, Exempt staff position that will normally work Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm. Must have previous commericial or industrial maintaince repair experience, including supervisory experience in this field; and valid drivers license and clean driving record history. Plumbing, Electrical, or HVAC license is not required but strongly desireable.

The pay grade range is $47,320 - $71,000 annually, however starting pay rate will be based on previous work experience, education and salary history.
