Deputy Executive Director

Clinton National Airport is currently seeking a Deputy Executive Director that will be responsible for the day to day operation of the airport.  Also responsible for long term strategic planning, masterplan, preparation of capital improvement plans and financial planning . Serves in the capacity of the Executive Director in his/her absence.   

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in business administration, airport management, or related field; seven to ten years of Aviation experience at a Department Head Level at a small or medium Commercial Service Airport. Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of modern airport management which has been acquired through verifiable work experience and education.

 This is a full-time, exempt position. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Custodial Attendant (Female)

Clinton National Airport is currently seeking individuals to maintain a clean environment in and around the Airport terminal. Duites include cleaning restrooms, offices, floors, windows and ensuring all public and controlled areas are swept, mopped and vacuumed. Applicants should describe in detail their previous custodial and housekeeping experience when completing the online application.

The Window crew (1st shift) performs detailed work on all interior/exterior glass surfaces and will require you to operate a lift. The Floor crew (3rd shift) peforms detailed work on floors, and applicants should have previous experience using a buffer, burnisher and stripping/waxing floors.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position, with certain schedules open to Female applicants only. It is gender-specific and represents a bona fide occupational qualification (BFOQ) that is reasonably necessary for normal business operation. Work schedules currently available are:

  • Sunday - Wednesday, 3:30pm to 2am (Nights)
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00pm to 4:30am (Overnights-Floor crew)

Airport Operations Duty Manager

12/12/2019 - Clinton National Airport is currently seeking an individual responsible for overseeing Airport operations and ensuring compliance with FAR Part 139. They will also conduct inspections and prepare discrepancy reports, respond to emergencies and follow FAA regulation guidance. Individual must be able to communicate changes in security procedures, assist with updating all governing certifications and policies, conduct security training, and issuing SIDA badges.

This is a full-time, non-exempt positions that works a rotating 8 hour shift. Must be available for day, evening and overnight schedules. A four-year degree in Aviation Management or Business Administration is preferred, along with a minimum 2yrs experience working in a small or medium hub Part 139 airport. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

The pay grade range is $20.59 - $30.89 hourly, however starting pay rate will be based on previous work experience, education and salary history.

Information Systems Technician

Clinton National Airport is currently seeking an IS Techncian I to support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, servers and peripherals. This also includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all hardware and equipment. Must have 2-3 years of related work experience, to included help desk support, PC tech work and server/network administration.

Admin Assistant III - Badging

Clinton National Airport is currently seeking a professional to provide administrative and clerical support with the issuing of security identification badges and maintaining security records in compliance with TSA and Airport regulatons. This person will review security badge applications, conduct fingerprinting, coordinate background checks, and input data into the security system. Previous clerical office experience is strongly recommended.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position that works Monday - Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

The hourly pay grade range is $14.15 - $21.25 per hour. Starting pay rate will be based on previous work experience and education.

Airport Internship Program

Clinton National Airport (LIT) is seeking college students and aspiring professionals who are interested in an all-around introduction to professional airport management and operations, an opportunity for professional development, and hands-on learning experience at a public use airport.

Our internship program provides a real-world experience in how the Airport operates on a daily basis. Starting pay rate is $12 per hour and you will work between 15 to 32 hours per week. Flexible scheduling options are available to accommodate class schedules for students if needed (i.e. M/W/F or T/Th).

Responsibilities:

The intern’s work duties will be directly related to the operation of the airport, and may involve both indoor and outdoor work. Work duties may generally include airport management functions to include property management, development: engineering/planning/construction/environment, purchasing and contracting, human resources, information technology, general aviation, public safety, airfield operations, airport building maintenance activities (including operation of maintenance equipment) airport finance and budgeting, marketing and promotions, air service development and special projects.

  • Assist department with developing and executing communications campaigns.
  • Draft written materials, including speeches, media advisories and releases and web copy.
  • Plan and create content for website, social media platforms and e-newsletters.
  • Monitor and reply to customer social media inquiries and coordinate service recovery as needed.
  • Coordinate special events and assist with conference planning.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current students (preferably with at least junior standing), or recent college graduate, majoring in Administration, Aviation, Business, Engineering, or other related program.
  • Previous related work experience in a professional environment is a plus.
  • A working knowledge of computers, as well as word processing and database management software (i.e. - MS Office).
