Elwin Jones

DIRECTOR - PROCUREMENT

Operating an organization the size of an airport takes a tremendous amount of resources, which involves material sourcing from across the country.  Elwin Jones is responsible for ensuring that purchases are cost effective and made within approved policy.  He and his team are also in charge of vendor contract compliance.

During his 16 years of service, Jones has experienced all facets of airport operations, which helped prepare him for his current role.  He started at the airport as the manager of landside operations, which has responsibility for parking and ground transportation services. Jones’ time there included $30 million in terminal and parking improvements, including the redesign of facilities and construction of a new parking deck.  Jones later moved to procurement, where he led implementation of a new financial and purchasing system.

Prior to working at Clinton National, Jones held various leadership roles with a nationwide retailer.  He attended Louisiana Tech University where he studied business administration.
